Allianz Global Assistance (AGA) is a member of Allianz Group, one of the world’s leading insurers operating in almost 70 countries. Allianz has been operating since 1890, with a long history of helping people find travel insurance.

AGA is one of Canada’s primary travel insurance providers, with policies underwritten by CUMIS General Insurance Company. Cumis is the primary insurance company for credit unions in Canada and is a member of the Co-operators Group of Companies. AGA had a recent product overhaul in 2023, with new high-quality insurance policies introduced to the Canadian market.
